Strabismus surgeries have, in recent times, progressed at a rapid rate, with the introduction of a multitude of remarkable techniques that have defied the rules of classic surgery. With the advent of newer imaging modalities, and a better understanding of disease pathophysiology, surgical techniques are more targeted toward the specific muscles involved and its pathology.
